The rotary movement with pneumatic and hydraulic units is achieved by means of one cylinder for each direction. Damping of the end positions generally takes place hydraulic. Along with the standard angles of rotaion of 90° or 180°, any intermediate angle can also be achieved, sometimes steplessly in the case of the hydraulic units. In addition, hydraulic units can be supplied with an intermediate position. The electrical modules are generally driven by servo motors, by means of which high powers can be achieved with high acceleration and speed and with optimum positioning accuracy.
